The sky was clear – a time for another bike ride. I started late pass 7 in the morning last Wednesday when I rode my mtbike going down to Talisay town, Batangas. Dubbed to be the gateway to Taal volcano, Talisay is the major jump-off point to Taal volcano crater lake. It has a nice view of the lake and nearby islands.

Masasa Beach was just a regular untamed beach with almost fine white sand in the Philippines, with some plastic garbage washed to the shore by strong waves. For some local inhabitants of this island this beach was just a pass-way to main Barangay (Sitio Masasa, Barangay San Juan) and to town proper. But when the sun down the beach become enchanted and more nicer, with a view of red, yellow, gold, orange color (oh whatever color you describe) sun soaking to the sea into the horizon. Here are some of my (not so beautiful) photos of the sunset.

When a good friend of mine invited me to join their outdoor adventure last weekend, with no hesitation I answered yes because I’m free that day, even though I’m not au fait with their group. The only thing I know, Maricaban Island was our destination, so expect some swimming and beachin’ activities. From Anilao port in Mabini, Batangas we hire a boat that set off directly to our target, Masasa Beach area. We started a calm and smooth water sailing from port but before we’ve reach our destination near Sepok Point, the water become rough and the sailing become bumpy, water splashed inside the boat (some of us get wet) for more than an hour.

It’s a perfect day. The weather was good and while some people were still in bed last Sunday, I’ve prepared my bike for another road mtbiking adventure. This time I’m going back to Lipa City but on a different road, the one I ascertained during my Nagcarlan ride. I started my zero speedometer mark at Sto. Tomas Cathedral.

Wow! I can’t imagine that I’m still on Blogosphere for 5 years now. Started with a single post that don’t care if there’s a readers/followers or not and maintaining a new post every month, now I had a total of 408 posts, meaning i’ve got an ~370 destinations and outdoors adventure (less announcements and inspirational post). Still alive after 5 years, still blogging from mountain to beaches and hoping to post more about outdoors adventure...
