Heritage Houses of San Juan (part one)

San Juan is a 1st class municipality in the province of Batangas, Philippines. It occupies the easternmost portion of the province, 43 kilometers east of Batangas City, also the same distance southwest of Lucena City, Quezon, and 115 kilometers away from Manila.

San Juan, Batangas is a heritage town with a lot of grand ancestral homes. Most of them are not along the highway, you'll have to drive around town to see it. Here are the partial photos of the houses.

To get there:
From Manila on private vehicle, people usually take the STAR Tollway via Batangas City, and take Tambo exit or, to avoid the traffic in Lipa City proper, you can take Exit 93 (Malainin) which is 9 kilometers after the Tambo (Lipa) exit and pass the towns of Ibaan and Rosario to get to San Juan.
