Independence Day (U.S.A.)

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.”

On July 4, 1776, the members of the Second Continental Congress officially signed the Declaration of Independence. When they did, they put their lives in line. The outcome of the war was in the hands of a bunch of ragtag farmers and adventurers.
