My Top 10 Outdoor Adventures and Destinations of 2010

It’s time to summarize my outdoor adventures and recreations/destinations of the past year. Last year was a great year for me with a travel to nearby countries of Singapore and Malaysia, although I was not able to climb some of our great mountains here in The Philippines I’ve still manage to climb at Mt. Kinabalu. The year 2010 was a great year, I am glad to have visited these places listed below. Here’s to share my top 10 outdoor adventures of 2010


X. Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery  











A historical site in the town of Nagcarla, Laguna. Build by Fr. Vicente Belloc who served as Nagcarlan parish priest in 1845. It also served as a secret meeting place during the Spanish Colonial period by the Katipuneros. Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery

IX. San Jose and Sablayan

Also known as Parola Park, A historical monument dedicated to the people of Sablayan which stands at an elevation of 32 meters above sea level, ideal viewpoint for enjoying splendid panorama. Sablayan Presing Park

A 1st class municipality in the southern part of Occidental Mindoro, the town of San Jose. Side trip at San Jose


VIII. Baguio City

One of the most popular destinations in the country, in the province of Benguet, Baguio City my old favourite (but always love to be there) out of town destination. Recently it recorded a 10 degrees Celcius temperature and can ever go lower these coming days. Bypass to Baguio

VII. Vigan
 
The UNESCO World Heritage Site, Vigan is the capital city of Ilocos Sur located on the west coast of northern Luzon, one of a well preserve town in the Philippines. Visiting Vigan, Caparia-an Beach area


VI. Manabu Peak

V. Mt. Batulao

Mt. Batulao, from the word "ilaw sa dalawang bato" or "bato sa ilaw", located at Nasugbu, Batangas. Mt. Batulao

IV. Cebu

The scenes depicted in the Heritage Monument are the baptism of Rajah Humabon, a procession of the Santo Nino, a Roman Catholic mass, and the Battle of Mactan between Lapu-Lapu and Ferdinand Magellan. The persons depicted in the monument include the late president Sergio Osmena Sr., and Blessed Pedro Calungsod. III. Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan
