Take Taal – The Heritage Town

I've been to this town several times but it never fails to call me back. During our recent visit to Taal we’ve plan to climb the bell tower of the Basilica of San Martin De Tours, famously known as the Taal Basilica (the most visited place in town and the biggest Catholic Basilica Church in the Far East), but unfortunately it was closed for renovation. So this was all I’ve got while walking around the town.

Taal is a town in Batangas Province PH with lots of historical sights/sites. Taal holds the record for having the most number of National Historical Landmarks acknowledged and declared by the NHI (National Historical Institute).
It is more than just ancestral houses, but also the Balisong and Barong Tagalog Capital of the Philippines. Taal is bounded by the town of Lemery, San Luis, San Nicholas and Sta. Teresita.
Truly Taal gives that worthy visit, so next time when you’re visiting Batangas, take Taal.
