Public Ride to Taytay Falls

Visiting Taytay falls (aka Imelda falls) thru public transportation (PUJ) from San Pablo City, Laguna, PH.

San Pablo City
At San Pablo City we rode a jeep bound to Liliw, but we stop at Nagcarlan town for another jeepney ride going to Majayjay.

Majayjay town
At Majayjay we’ve waited for almost 30 mins for another jeepney ride bound to Lucban, Quezon. There jeep bound directly to Brgy Taytay, but you must wait for almost an hour so we decided the Lucban bound jeepney. We stop at the junction (with the direction sign at the right side) going to Brgy. Taytay and rode a tricycle going (up and down) to Barangay hall for registration and fee. Then walk about 5-10 mins. down to the falls.

Taytay falls
From Mt. Banahaw the water flow through the mountain's lush and untouched forest which keeps the water clear even during heavy rains, so expect the water temperature to be very cold even during summer. Camping overnight along the river near the falls was possible but expects to have a crowded and noisy environment. Don’t worry about foods; there were sari-sari stores near the jump-off and parking spaces available.

By PUJ:
From San Pablo City to Liliw Laguna = Php 29.00
From Nagcarlan to Majayjay = Php 16.00
From Majayjay to Brgy. Taytay = Php 16.00

Entrance Fee to falls = Php 20.00

By Tricycle (optional):
From Brgy. Taytay to Main Road (labasan) = Php 40.00/2pax
From Majayjay to Liliw = Php 60.00/2pax

Many thanks to Willard F. one of my hiking buddies, actually he’s the one paid all the expenses.
