Cold Days at La Virginia Hotel and Resort

A place for everyone regardless of age or gender, whether you love to swim in a cold infinity pool or do some outdoor activities like Zipline (300ft and 200meters) and Wall-climbing or just want to relax and enjoy the scenery, there is a place for you at La Virginia Resort and Hotel.

La Virginia was set at 8 hectares of secluded grounds with a great view of Taal Lake, yet it offers one of the largest privately-owned natural getaways in Batangas, with the clean elegance of Philippine and modern architecture, with lots of statues and replicas of animals and of famous (an infamous) TV characters. It is located in slanty area at Brgy. Manggahan, Mataas Na Kahoy, Batangas (Philippines).
The big Buddha statue near zipline area adds the big variation feeling like you’re not in the Philippines, I like that. The Place has on-going construction so the next time I come back here hope to see neither new attractions nor activity or both, the (not so) awful thing for every accommodation you must pay the entrance fee of php300.00.
For public transportation: Take a bus bound to Batangas (via Lipa-Tanauan) and get-off at Robinsons Lipa or at Lipa Airbase. Ride a jeepney that bound to Mataas Na Kahoy (MKAHOY) and tell the driver to drop you off at Brgy. Longos, you can just get a tricycle ride to La Virginia Resort. Other (tipid) option but limited, in Lipa City public market there is a jeepney bound to Brgy. Lumang Lipa that passes at La Virginia Resort. It is much better if you have a car, for more information and your reference visit their website or click the link. Thanks to Willard my hiking buddy.
