The Grand Garden – Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay

It was an amazing and a beautiful moment strolling around at the Gardens by the Bay, indeed Singapore never stop to amazed me to come back here, coz every year they had a new attractions. Just recently opened last June 2012 the Garden City, Spanning 101 hectares, this award-winning horticultural attraction houses over 250 thousand rare plants and is just a five-minute walk from the city. The Gardens comprises three spaces—Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central. From the waterfront promenade, enjoy an amazing view of the Marina Bay financial district skyline. The grounds are perfect for an evening stroll and a picnic with loved ones and family. -gardens by the bay

I was really amazed when I discovered that the Supertrees (the artificial trees up to 50 meters high towering over a vast urban oasis) was generating solar power that convert sunlight into energy, acting as air venting ducts for nearby conservatories, and collecting rainwater.

Whether you’re a solo traveler on in a group, walking around (outside) for free was really incredible, photos speak more for itself (see for yourself too). Hoping next time to have a night walk at the gardens and the OCBC aerial walk.
