road mtbiking: Sto. Tomas to Lemery

Back on biking after a month long of no ‘padyak’ and this time its Taal town in Batangas was my core destination. Taal is a heritage town and home for ‘Balisong’ and ‘Barong Tagalog’; everybody knows about Taal so no more description about the town. On this route Lemery town was my end point, a town just a bridge away from Taal. Here’s my bike ride.

Started my around at around six in the morning at Sto Tomas (Batangas) town plaza (town Cathedral complex). The Malvar arch once more.

At Lipa City (memorial garden at Brgy. Bugtong and SM City Lipa).

In front of Lipa Airbase and the zigzag road down to Cuenca.

At Alitagtag town take a quick rest and some photo shop, one more town ahead.

At the Sta. Teresita town and Taal town welcome arch.

Finally it’s the famous Taal town; take a rest and photos around town plaza.

My end point for now, the town of Lemery in Batangas.

My whole ride (‘padyak’) records a distance of 57.6 kilometers. It was a fine rides a week before the typhoon and rains hit the area, tiring but enjoyable.
