road mtbiking: Tanauan City to Batangas City

When some of us our busy for the Feast of Sto. Niño last Thursday (January 9) I’ve decided to took an mtbike ride to Batangas City via Pres. Laurel Highway. It was a cold morning days with cool breeze when I stated to pedalled on. This was my first mtbike ride for this year 2014, hoping to accumulate more kilometers (miles) at the end of the year.

I started early at around 5:30 am set my starting point at Tanauan City Cathedral. Take some minute rest at Lipa City Cathedral, skipping the Ayala Highway (in Lipa) and took the city’s main street.

Took a quick photo snap at Lipa Airbase main gate and along the road curve down to San Jose town (call of nature force me to stop along the highway before reaching town of San Jose).

Now at town of San Jose, Batangas dubbed as the “Egg Basket of the Philippines,” took some rest and shot some photos around town.

At San Jose town Cathedral.

The main destination Batangas City, at Provincial Capital compound photos again and some rest.

Took a turn around loop via SM City Batangas, City Cathedral, and Mabini Park before headed back home.

At Mabini park in front of city Cathedral.

The whole ride got a record of 61.23 kilometers distance on my speedometer. Another bike ride adventure and another outdoors adventure for ybbs, looking forward for more adventures this year.
