Finding Nemo at Siete Picados

On my fourth visit and dive to Siete Picados I finally encountered Nemo or ocellaris clownfish (also known as false percula clownfish or common clownfish), not just one but three of them in their home, the anemone (Heteractis magnifica).

Nemo was popularized in the animated film ‘Finding Nemo’ in 2003 by Pixar and Walt Disney. Clownfish was small marine fish which grows upto 4.3 inches, with a body coloration of orange to reddish-brown and a white stripes with black outlined it became an eye-catching when your underwater.

Siete Picados is a protected marine sanctuary in the town of Coron, Palawan. I believe that we can easily find Nemo anywhere else in our Philippine sea if we (all Filipinos and citizens of the earth) take good care of our ocean, no dumping of garbage and toxins, and no illegal and overfishing. Let’s all save our seas (SOS).
